For 18 years, Greg and Kathy Hale have hosted a free duathlon in South Fulton County, GA, that aims to expose more people in our community to the joy of the athletic lifestyle.

It’s appropriately called The Greg Hale Duathlon, a title chosen by his wife in honor Mr. Hale, an avid runner (South Fulton Runner Partners) and cyclist (Metro Atlanta Cycling Club) who has inspired hundreds of people to become more active.

After the race — at the Cedar Grove Community Center in Fairburn — the Hales treat everyone to a catered breakfast, music, a raffle, certificates for all participants and …. drum roll, please … podium finishes for the top three male, female and relay teams.
